Pain for a while but no swelling and changes to the breast

hi everyone im a newbie, sending well wishes and lots of love and support to u all bravely and coursgeously dealing with this monster called cancer. Xx

Im hoping for a bit of advice im not sure if what im seeing is real, meant to be there or wether im imagining it... so it all started a fair few months ago now, pain in my breast (put it down to hormones at the time, Even tho it was sharp thro the nipple and breast type of pain) Then i had pain in my chest, in the centre and going all around the breast and under and up thro the armpit into my collar bone shoulder and when it was severe pain i couldnt move my arm. I went drs and they think because of my history with hip osteoarthritus tht perhaps it was the same in my shoulder and tht it was caising inflamation to my ribs and chest (hmmm ok then!! Drs know best right ) so dr gave me a pain injection, seems to of done the trick and the shoulder pain subsided for a while before coming bk a month later, and the breast pain has just continued and stops me in my tracks some days and night times is bad. I hve been itching my chest and breast non stop i felt like something was literally crawling under my skin and had a raised rash for wks n wks (altho tht seems to have lessened but still there if tht makes sense, and popping up in different ateas now around the chest breast and neck, and now the skin jst looked a bit discoloured, this is y im so unsure whats going on here) i do have some really small marks tht almost look like a timy spot of exzma tht have appreared but hasnt changed or gone but jst there. Im experiencing sharp pains in the side of my breast as we speak almost likesomeone is pushing a nitting needle thro my breast from the side under my armit into the breast. Whats concerning me the most is the big change iv seen and thts a big indentation down the breast, but again iv got stretchmarks there so not sure if im imagining it, surely not as iv ha those marks since 15 theyve never sucked into the skin before im now 36, or is tht what happens with age? I dnt know. i wish i cld post a pic to show what i mean is there anywhere i can do tht ? I have lots of lumps in my breasts big and small and tht swuiye normal for me so not sure if there cld be new ones there, the breast have defo changed the nipple is alot larger the breast is slightly lower and to the side, u can almost see where the breast was sat before on my chest bit now its over to the side and where it was before is where the rash started and is now discoloured.

Last night it literally felt like i had a small tennis ball in there it was like i cld feel it and along came the pain in waves again, im hoping im imahining all of this i really am and worrying for nothing. Iv finally phoned drs this morning after this going on for quite along time, is there anyone else tht have had tje same withoit the swelling? Iv had mastitis in the past this is not the same pain, i literally have to clutch my breast from the side and hold myself to get myself thro the pain some days, im on morphine for my hips and tht doesnt even touch it.

Wld love to chat and try put my mind at rest but im hst finding my way around the website n figiring it all out.

We are not doctors here but concerned others. it sounds like you have done the right thing by calling your doctor. Finding out what is causing your pain and other breast changes will hopefully offer you relief. New breast symptoms and discomfort can cause worry but may not necessarily lead to a cancer diagnosis. hello thankyou so much for your reply, yes i have been finding my way around the websiteand have seen now were not allowed to post pics which i completely understand. Fingers crossed im jist being paranoid and all is ok, maybe im pre menopausal or something silly but what ever it is there is something going on with my body and its changes.

Ill keep posted... is there any other things that can cause these breast oains without swelling ? I think if i can find something then i prob wouldnt b so worried its IBC, but everytime i google my symptoms or try n research other possibilities i hs get either skin infection which i dnt belive it is ir mastitus which again iv ja before and its not the same pain xx
