Should I get second opinion?

I went to see a breast surgeon today regarding intraductual papilloma. I have a strong family history mom died of bc 4 yrs ago and grandmother had bc. He said it’s up to me if I wanted to monitor it or have it removed. I’m kinda confused all I’ve read said, have it removed even my gyn said remove it. Why would he not recommend it. When I said I was considering double mastectomy he said that’s not a bad idea. I’m considering it cause this whole process was not cool to deal with. I was hoping for a more cute throat answer from him. Idk! So so so confused!!! Should I get a second opinion
