Dark Red/Purple Breasts

Hello all!

I will get right to the point. I don't normally have my glasses on when I am changing clothes but last night I did. When I saw my breasts I about passed out. Both of them are over 50% covered in what I would describe as dark red/purple areas. Up close it looks like all of the blood vessels are broken or bruised. No recent injuries. Hope that makes sense. They also sting sometimes and itch. I took some pictures and one is much larger than the other by at least a full cup size if I were to guess. The color changes come and go in intensity. I have recently gained weight (for unknown reasons) so I figured the growth was due to this.

This is new for me and the internet keeps pointing to IBC although I know it could be many things.

I'm seeing my GP tomorrow as I am a bit freaked out right now.

Any specific questions I should ask him at this point?

As you have already found, all "breast" queries lead to "breast cancer." Google is a terrible friend. Although IBS is pretty rare and almost never presents in both breasts at the same time, clearly something is going on inside your bra. I'm glad you're having your doctor look at it.
