hello,

So yesterday I had a punch biopsy as consultant concerned I’m presenting symptom of IBC. I had very thick, discoloured skin patches on my breast. I was prescribed a steroid cream by my gp prior to which it did respond too! (Become thinner, dry but still discoloured). So just to air on the side of caution they went ahead with a biopsy. After taking my dressing off I’m teally worried she’s preformed the biopsy to high up from the patch of skin.

COuld this give a false negative?

Thank you
