Six months later and bruise still on breast

I noticed a bruise on my left breast about pencil eraser size back in Sept 2017. I had a MRI and ultrasound in October which were negative. But it never went away. So now it's a little bigger almost dime size and still dark purple. No other breast changes. I'm really starting to worry BC it's getting bigger and not going away and on a vein. I called the breast clinic and they said maybe look into seeing a dermatologist but that insurance wouldn't approve any more imaging right now. Any thoughts? IF it was IBC surely it would have grown a lot more by now. Would appreciate any insight as to what this could be? No lumps. No angry lymph nodes. Occasional stabbing pains.

A skin condition of some kind. Would you be worried it was cancer if it were on your leg?

yes I would still be worried bruises aren't supposed to last for 9+ months

This does not sound like IBC. I don't know what you've got there, but I don't think it's that.
