Seeking input. For those of you who have had it done, are you happy with results? Glad you did it? Any regrets? I have a short pre-chemo window to decide and welcome any advice! TIA

    Hi ScarletO.

I had microblading done last October, before I started my AC+T in November. I am happy with the results and glad I did it, because I am not one to fill in my natural brows at all, so they would have looked horrible if I had to free-hand them. I will say that (knock on wood) not all my brows or lashes have fallen out yet (my last Taxol was last Friday), so I have not had to rely on the microblading 100%. I have been using Careprost (like Latisse) religiously since before chemo so I'm not sure if that is also helping.

Not really a regret, but with microblading you usually need a touch-up/filler a month or two after you first have them done, but because I was doing chemo I wasn't able to have this done and I do have a few spots she missed that I just have to fill in with a brow pencil for the next couple weeks, then I'll be able to go in and have them touched up.

I hope your chemo goes well and you have little side effects!

I did not do micro blading, didn’t know it existed until doing chemo, and I wish that I had! Losing my eyebrows was the worst for me, as I knew it would be. Mine didn’t completely fall out until like two weeks after finished Taxol. Took about 6 weeks to grow back tothe point I don’t need to pencil them in.
