IBC - type of biopsy needed

Is a punch biopsy sufficient for diagnosing ibc? I read somewhere that a surgical biopsy is needed. What is the difference and which is best?

A punch biopsy is the kind of biopsy done to check for IBC
-
If you have a lump with your IBC then a needle biopsy is given. Without a lump, a punch biopsy is the standard test.
