Interrupting hormone therapy

I'm just wondering if anyone has interrupted their hormone therapy? How long for and did you go back on it?

I've been on arimidex for 2 years now and hope to interrupt it at some point in the future (maybe years 3/4) to try and have a baby. I intend to go straight back on it afterwards, but has anyone else done similar?

Doesn't have to be for a baby, could just be side effects got too much. Thanks

    I have been on Arimidex for 7 1/2 years. Took a 2 month break at the suggestion of my MO due to side effects. Restarted a month ago. My tumor markers are elevated for the first time in the 8 years since I was diagnosed. A waiting to schedule essential full bodyCT scan. Could be nothing, but my MO is concerned and I am now scared. Could be just coincidental that this occurred after a 2 month break............
