GoodRX

Options

Has anyone used GoodRX to get your AIs? I'm doing some retirement planning, and will be too young yet for Medicare. Trying understand options.

Thanks

I use it for every prescription. It shows you what price all the different pharmacies charge. It’s shocking how much that can vary from one place to another!!

Thanks Jennie93. Do the prices change each time you get a refill?

Anybody with experience negotiating cash prices with doctors or hospitals, for follow-up care? I will have COBRA for 18 months if I decide to retire soon, but again just wanting to understand options, beyond that time.

I have to pay all of my own scripts. I pay particularly close attention to Anastrozole, my AI. GoodRX is a good resource to check prices.

However, through 6 years of taking AIs, consistently COSTCO is the cheapest price by a substantial amount. My last 90 day supply was $27.00

and they are usually what I consider good manufacturers.

You do NOT need to be a member of COSTCO to use their pharmacy. I figured it out with all my scripts I saved at least $1,200 last year

    by buying drugs from COSTCO.

    Good luck!

Thanks Denise, I hadn't considered COSTCO.
