Good morning! First time posting, so apologies if I get anything wrong.

I’m 24 and a mother of two young girls, (4 and 2.5). Generally healthy although I’m very overweight.

A few days ago I noticed I had a painful red patch just above my areola. It’s not itchy, not warm to the touch, not even a rash as such. It’s about the size of my thumb nail. There is no bite mark there. It’s flat to the skin, though a few tiny bumps of the areola below seem slightly slightly raised.

Obviously Dr Google told me I’m doomed and there is no hope. I do have a GP appointment in a couple of hours.

Although I’m aware it could be nothing, my anxiety is sky high!

I’m not even sure what I’m asking here :( Thanks for reading x

Welcome Pinkbutton. So many people with your symptoms come here from a Google search. Nearly all of them turn out to have dermitalological problems, bites, etc IBC progresses quickly, so I'd suggest you get medical attention if the rash evolves into a major inflammatory spread. I know it's easy to say, but relax for now and keep us posted if matters change.
