Hi everyone, so as I said before I don't get to involved with my mother in laws IBC....well I don't due to the fact that we are meaning my husband and I are not fully informed of everything going on.

She has been doing chemo for about 4 months now once a week her breast looks like it has shrunk to me...but now she is having odors, leaking and discoloration on her breast. Is this normal? Today she started a stronger chemo due to the fact that the breast has not shrunk, the cancer has spread a little to lymph nodes under arm from what we are told. Is it normal for odor, discoloration it's like the breast is rotting. Do we get a second opinion? Do I get more involved?
