So, I just began my third cycle of Ibrance. During my off week last week, I felt like crap. Flu-like symptoms (but no flu or fever) and achey joints - especially in my legs. I should preface this to say that I was diagnosed with bone mets in November, then last month two brain mets. I had gamma knife rads for the brain on the last day of my second cycle of Ibrance. I chalked up the crappy week to rads/low WBC/etc. Then I saw that my CEA was posted on-line from my last doc appt. (before the rads for brain mets). It's rising. Not as much as a couple of months ago, but it went from 17 to 19.

Can anyone speak to when Ibrance "kicks in"? MO says it takes a good 3 months to notice a difference and scans are the most important indicator of success/progress. But the rising number and the feeling like crap (although I do feel better now) have me worried.

Help.
