Why Don't They Know What To Do About LCIS?

LCIS seems to be something that the medical community does not really understand. They say it is not usually found on a mammogram but then they want you to have a yearly one. In fact I was told to have some sort of diagnostic test every 6 months. I agreed to a six month MRI with dye. Ended up having two, one with biopsy because they "found something." I am allegic to dye so had a twice over high dose of prednisone. MRI 2 biopsy turned out to be nothing. I got a cellulitis infection, which they didn't seem find too important.

I have been searching for BETTER advise about LCIS screening and treatment and even Mayo seems to have the same canned kind of advice. My conclusion is that they don't have a clue.

I am not taking drugs or doing anything rash. In fact, I am starting to wonder if just a TWO YEAR mameo is the solution. There seems to be NO good current advice about LCIS, so why are they so clueless when it comes to prevention? Oh, maybe because the drug industry doesn't fund high risk prevention ? I believe that!
