Anyone diabetic and have recon?

Hi, this is my year for "build a boob" lol, so will be looking into options for reconstruction later this year and wanted to know if anyone else who was diabletic was limited on choices or what you were advised by your PS. I have met w one but it was before radiation and they basically just gave me a run down on all the options. I have read that people with diabetes may not be candidates for some of the flap surgeries. I am still honestly debating whether I want to put myself thru major surgery or not again, but will see once I weigh all the options. Thanks for any feedback on your experiences you can share also with your surgery.
