New, Worried, Trying to Plan Attack

Howdy ladies, well I took a stab (get it) to check if my path report is in yet. It is in. It arrived late Friday and of course, the records office could not tell me what it was. She was very quiet on the other end and said it all has to go through my referring physician. I can pick up my images and full report tomorrow but now I am curious.
If it was positive, do you think Quest labs double check before concluding results? Today is Monday and my doctor's office has not called yet. My mother said if it is bad news, they would've called immediately but I am not so sure. I am hoping that if it is bad news that the delay is because they are lining up the various pre-approvals (HMO) needed before landing the big blow. I know that their nurse has a lower opinion of me because I have had to raise a big stink about her mistakes and delays (even the imaging office called me to tell me how she screwed up) - 2 months later, I just had the biopsy and other screens. Maybe a 2 month wait is normal? If it is - that is a crime in itself.
Thank you ladies for your encouragement. Your words and wishes have not only benefitted me but also everyone who stops by to read. It is a wonderful to have this community available.
I have not even measured out my ingredients for the carrot cake/cheesecake, I will make meatball subs for dinner tonight and measure everything for the cake tonight instead. Has Spring sprung yet in your neck of the woods? In Southern California, it is bright and just warming up. With that said, I cannot wait to have a proper hardcore shower and glass of spirits.

Hey Ms. V,
I'm not sure how your doctor works, but mine calls back with results very quickly (like the day after the tests are done) Perhaps your PCP is only getting the path today...and late in the day? You could put a call in and leave a message for the doc to call you in the morning. So Cal eh? Niiiice! Spring is just starting to crawl in up here in Canada which means that the snow melts a bit faster on the roads lol! I'm SO looking forward to warmer weather, getting sick of winter clothing! Btw, will you be sharing that cake? If so save me a piece pls! Lol@ hardcore shower...take the spirits right in with you, just don't get water in it! Hoping for great results VERY soon! Cheers

Hi Kbeee: I had to rephrase what I wrote above. It is based on the BIRAD lexicon but it is a classification system for density in breast tissue. That is what I was referring to. Sorry for the confusion.
I edited my post above.
Miss Vickie: I am so glad your results are back! I hope all is good!!! I am really stunned they haven't called you to give you results! I had my ultrasound and biopsy on a Friday and had results by Monday morning as I recall. I just don't understand why they are making you wait so long. I am so sorry you are having to go through this! How awful! If that were my doctor.....I would be looking for another one. Nobody should have to wait this long for results. Please keep us posted! Hugs.

edited my earlier post once again. Someone pointed out the classifications on breast density are changing so I noted that above
