hi everyone, I'm pretty nervous as of late. More recently I've been concerned about my breast's. Back in 2013 I had a little boy, my breasts grew from a c-a dd, I pumped for 18 months, so in that time i'd like to think I knew my breasts and how they felt and just sorta brushed off how they felt after growing, however the amount of lumpyness and bumps I feel concern me. My nipples also invert sometimes, usually if it is very cold. And I've noticed, very much so on my left, just not as much on my right, that when I lay down flat on my back, I notice indentation on the tops of my ariolas. If I push on the dents, there is no lump, it almost feels like there is no connective tissue in it like there is on the Lower part of the ariolas. Also found a more noticeable flatish bump on the upper part of my right breast right where I’ve found a lot of breast tissue has dropped down with my breasts. I can't tell if its actually hard or just rubbery feeling? When my breasts grew during pregnancy, I do feel, that there was a lot of tissue damage, my boobs hang quite lower and nipples now point down, they feel very fiborous, almost rope like. I have an appt Wednesday to ask my dr. I'm just terrified. I'm 26, I have a four year old, and a loving husband, I just can't imagine putting my family through this, when I just lost my older sister this past November, and my husbands mom beat breast cancer this past year, however now they are suspicious of a spot near her spine, not to mention the array of health problems my parents are going through and I'm the only kid who can really help them... I just am terrified to add another tough situation on our families... it's been such a tough few years recently and I couldn't imagine putting my husband through it all... he's such a rock, tells me " come what may, we will figure everything out" but I just ugh... you know? I'm just venting and fearful that the symptoms adding up are damning.. any words of encouragement and strength? Personal experiences? Anything to help me have some hope.

Hi Emmaleigh, you are very young and it very likely is nothing to worry about considering your age. But there is no harm in going to your doctor. Your doctor may request an ultrasound to see what is going on. I had an ultrasound done and it is really quick and completely painless. Even if your doctor says it is nothing to worry about I would push for an ultrasound just so you know for sure. Also it sounds like you are having issues with both of your breasts which I think means it is likely to not be anything since it is both sides. BUT please please follow up with your doctor. There is no way to know for sure otherwise and why not have the peace of mind.
