I had a skin sparing bilateral mastectomy with prepectoral implants after a recurrence. I had radiation done on my right side with my first go round of bc. The right side is super tight compared to the left. I’ve also had three rounds of fat grafting on the radiated side due to my super thin skin. I had my exchange surgery in 08/17, which are much more comfortable than the expanders. My ps had to do more pocket work during the exchange. Lately I just feel super tight on this right side. Ive had this feeling comeand go and have assumed it’s scar tissue. I don’t feel any lumps, but I don’t really trust myself because nothing feels like it used to before surgery. How would I be able to tell or feel if something was recurring on my chest wall? I don’t get any scans since I’m early stage, only blood work. Thanks for any input :)

I had radiation after my recurrence, so it was after my reconstruction. My radiated side is hard as a rock. MO comments on it every exam. PS, BS and MO agree it is from radiation. It feels like my tissue expander, and is higher than the other side now too
