Armpit lump

I keep forgetting my username and password. Been on here since 1st diagnosis in 2013. Stage 1, right breast mastectomy and treatment, prophylactic reconstruction on left found a different cancer in left breast also stage 1, 2015. Armpit lump right now is sore and roughly 3 sided, on the prophylactic side where armpit breast tissue wasn’t removed. It’s not a sphere but around the size of a folfball

We all know scares. I’m trying to remain calm. Any advice? Should I try to see my oncologist before our appt in 2 weeks? This time I’m almost avoiding investigating it because I don’t think I can go through this again...

Maybe call your doctor so that you can have an ultra sound before ypu see him?

Yes. Definitely call and get some imaging. Call your BS as well. Keep us posted

thank you. I will see family doc today and oncologist in 2 weeks. So many life stressors at once! Work is a bit tenuous right now and actually sometimes toxic, which is bad for stress, bad for cancer, bad for other illnesses. It’s a good reminder that I’m not alone
