ok so I have been to the dr a few times this week for my main dr appointment for my breast ultrasound. The radiologist was vague and really would not tell me my results she just told me that there is a cluster of tumors closer to my nipple and to make another appointment with my Dr and she would discuss options with me. What could this mean. I asked her to be more specific but she just kind of brushed me off and told me to make that appointment with my primary and take it from there.

Hi Dana and sorry you had a weird conversation with the radiologist, who really shouldn't have used the word "tumors" at this point I believe. Usually it takes a few days for the official ultrasound report to come back; some facilities send it out for re-review at a second provider, and most don't provide a report until two different radiologists have read the images. So maybe that's all it is. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Dana, my questions are, who did the ultrasound? The radiologist or the technician? And was it that you talked to? Could it have been the tech?

It if was the technician you talked with, and not the radiologist, the vagueness was appropriate.

Get the ultrasound report, either way.
