When do you start hormonal therapy after chemo (no rads)?

Hi,
Is there a recommended timeline that you should start hormonal therapy after chemo finished, if no rads is required?
Can you take a long break to recover from chemo SEs before you begin to take the hormonal therapy?
What is your experience and what does your doctor say? Thanks.
