years after radiation

Hello Ladies,

It's been awhile since I been in here. But I'm 4 yrs post surgery going on 5yrs come October. My question for the ladies who had lumpectomy, radiation and taking hormone therapy years later do you find that you have pain still in the surgery breast? Is it like from the scare tissues or from radiation?

Hi, I'm also 4 years post-treatment, radiation only (no chemo). I do get pains around the scar tissue. It started in November, a couple of days before my scheduled mammogram and follow-up. The tests showed calcifications, which totally freaked me out. My oncologists seem to think it's nothing to worry about at this point, but they have scheduled me for a 6-month mammogram and ultrasound in April. I'm trying to remain calm and hopeful till then.

Oh Wow! Well I hope all goes well. My last mammogram was june last yr. About to do another one this yr. Last yr the moved me from 6 mo to yearly which I'm happy for.
