Met with surgeon today and some questions

I had my first meeting with my surgeon today. I told him immediately that I wanted them both gone and to go flat. His response was I think that those are both excellent choices for you. I was somewhat prepared to be pushed to do recon but he was so positive about it being a personal choice that each woman had the right to make for herself. It was a relief that he got it. He did not think just a lumpectomy on the left side even though it was small was a wise choice because of my family history. His only concern is the insurance fighting us about it as the tumor on the left is so small and grade 1. He did say that the fact that I had a tumor even though small, gave him a lot more leverage to do what I wanted. I also got my hormone receptor results the two tumors on the right side test positive for Estrogen but negative for progesterone. The one on the left tests positive for both. Her2 was a 2+ in all three tumors, they will reflex it for FISH what does that mean?

I will be doing chemo first and am getting my port on the 16th. Am waiting for the phone call to get my first appointment with the MO I have decided on. Wondering as the tumors tested different for hormone receptors that the chemo will be as if they all tested positive for both? Guess that is really a good first question for my MO. The plan right now is for me to start chemo before the end of Feb.
