I finished radiation 2 years ago, 1 year ago I had reconstruction done on my other breast to match the size of the radiated breast. Now with the shape of radiated breast I can't wear anything with any cup definition to it. What makes it worse is I am plus size. I have resorted to just not wearing one since I can't find many 48A bras lol.

A little different situation, but I empathize with your fitting dilemma. I'm having challenges after reduction surgery because there is no volume at the top of my breasts and my nipples point toward the sky. I buy the shaped bras to regain some of my former fullness, but worry that I'll bring my arm across my upper chest, swing it back and my bra cup will be crushed at the top. Since I was a 32D at age 16 and 109 pounds and am now 63 and plus-sized, this is a bizarre problem to have.

Just a thought... I live an hour away from a shop that offers customized bras. I used to go to them because my breasts were very large. Before easy online shopping and a 100 pound weight loss, they were one of the few places that carried a cup size / chest band large enough for me plus they could add moleskin in strategic locations to ease the stress on my shoulders and where the underwires hurt (underarms and the chest wall). Might there be such a specialty shop near you?
