Hi Im Gaynor I was diagnosed in January 2002 mine was grade 3 estrogen fed cancer and my treatment was lumopectomy 15 Radio therapy treatments tamoxafen 5 years plus 2 years zoladex injections ...

Ive had wonderful family support and I feel very greatful to be here a initially I had very dark thoughts ...

Im 16 years on and Im 57 years old however the last 8 months ive felt 77 years old my joints are so stiff and achy its getting so bad its making me sad i feel so much older than I am ...

Im a healthy lady Im not over weight and I do excersize I love to dance but I certainly cant move like I used to and I pay for it for a couple of days later ...

In the early days I had no noticable side effects with Tamoxafen it just seems to be catching up with me now !!

Maybe the menapause lack of eastrogen and the tamoxafen are the root of the problem just dont know how to cope lately its getting to me and I feel like im always moaning about it :-(

Anybody else out there in a similar position ??

did the pharmacy change which manufacturer they were getting their tamoxifen supply from? Since you’ve been good on it for so long perhaps that’s what happened. Others on the bottle o tamoxifen forum have had the same thing happen. Good luck to you, I hope it gets better!
