I have two different opinions on treatment, one oncologist wants to go with AC and taxol

The other oncologist wants to go with taxol and carboplatin, does anybody have any

Success stories with either one?

Thank you and god bless you...

I went through AC and Taxol. The AC was much harder on me, nausea for about 5 days then pretty good for for the 16 days til the next treatment. I was more tired than I have ever been in my life so rested often. The Taxol was weekly for 12 treatments. I experienced some achiness after 48 hours but exercised helped i.e walking.

    Good luck!

So sorry your going through this, I went with AC/Taxol, cant say that there is an easy answer here but what I can tell you is you can get through this. Read up on the side affects after chemo, everyone is different I was really tired for the most part and achy after the Nulesta shot.

I also did AC + Taxol. It wasn't fun, but I didn't have too much trouble. I still walked my 2 labradors twice a day. I think that really helped. No long lasting side effects either.

I did dose dense ac and dd Taxol. That is what Sloan recommended. I had one positive node and wanted to do most aggressive for highest survival. It lasted a total of 4months and was no picnic. The AC was worse than the Taxol but with the right medication combo was manageable.
