A little concerned

Hi All,

I noticed a lump on my right breast at the 3 o clock positon over a month ago. I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner last week and she referred me to a breast clinic to get an ultrasound. She said she could easily move the lump which is a good sign. The top of the lump is easily moveable however the base doesn't move at all. It doesn't hurt and the edges are quite smooth and it's fairly round. It hasn't changed in shape or size. It's about the size of a large peanut and it kind of feels like the top of a knuckle. I developed a dry cough about a month ago that seems to get worse when I wear a bra. The two could be totally unrelated but the timing has me concerned.

A little about me: I'm 26, have no history of bc in my family, very healthy overall, this is the first lump I've ever had and I've never had children.

Judging by research, I'm fairly certain this is nothing to be worried about but I can't help but worry from time to time. My ultrasound is in just under 2 weeks. Any insight you ladies may have would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
