Clear Mammogram and Ultrasound but still have pain

I had a mamo and u/s performed because I have pain in my left breast. Both came back clear, but the results stated that I have "heterogeneously dense" breast tissue. I am still feeling this pain in my breast. It comes and goes throughout the day, but it is a sharp pain inside my breast and sometimes my breast feels itchy when the pain is its worst. Has anyone experienced this? I made an appointment with my GP for this Friday to determine my next steps. I think I will ask for an MRI just to confirm the pain is not related to breast cancer? I'm just at a loss as to why I have this pain. I'm 39 and have two children (not breastfeeding).

Hi, do you have any updates on your condition? I also went for two US, both found benign cysts (one in each breast) but are less than a cm. I still have pain only in my left breast, it's constant pain for the past one month now. Wondering too if i should get an mri.
