hi

My mother experienced whitish discharge from right nipple which the doctor, after no suspicion in mammography, ultrasound & discharge pathology, presumed to b fibro cyst. On operating, he extracted greyish dead cell mass and sent for biopsy. Note, no MRI done. Results showed multifocal DCIS low grade and epitheliosis with atypia. Doc suggested a mastectomy. The next day, mother experienced a droplet discharge from other nipple. My concern is, could it be dcis in both breasts or a more severe case it could be? We are considering a second opinion. Should Mri b done this tym?
