Breast cysts and feeling unwell

Hi everyone. I have very dense fibrocystic breasts that are riddled with cysts. I had two macro cysts aspirated this fall (one 40cc, the other 20cc) because the pain was so unbearable. When the cysts hurt the most I also feel very veryunwell. Today I’m in pain and can feel the cysts enlarged but also feel almost like I have the flu (which I don’t no temp or other symptoms). I feel awful. I am posting here to see if anyone else experiences feeling unwell when their breasts hurt the most. It’s really impacting my life and aside from aspirations,EPO and managing caffeine I am not sure what to do. It’s almost like my body is having a response to the cysts.

We are so sorry that you are having such pain and discomfort. You might consider using the search function and using the words, "Painful fibrocystic breasts" to find others who may have similar issues. Perhaps you can say more about what it means for you to feel unwell and also search that. Put multiple words in quotes in search function. The Mods

Yes. I had lots of fibroids and mostly little cysts. It made me sensitive to the touch, and I did feel unwell. I realize loved coffee, so I never gave it up: Doctor recommended it. I did get relief from gel packs, and sometimes from binding my breasts. Yes. It was a mess. Now, the one breast I have has a cyst above the nipple. I might get an ultrasound on it in a few months. When I say the Pledge of Allegiance and put my hand on it, it feels much better! So I guess binding is my only suggestion.

Hi, just checking in to see if you have had any relief?  I am going through this myself.  I found a lump that is very painful.  It is in my left breast and everything on that side hurts, arm, shoulder, armpit and chest.  I had a clear mammogram and ultrasound in the area where I can feel the lump.  I am not sure if it is hormonal.

Hi , I had a simple benign cyst in my right breast .. I never noticed it but it came in ultrasound six months ago.. but just past 2 weeks I saw an oval movable painless lump in the same area and it was freaking me out.... saw my dr today she thinks it is the cyst that grew and I can feel it now .. she has ordered ultrasound which I got appointment on Monday .. but this is driving me crazy ... has anyone gone through this ?
