Needing some support and advice please...
Hello everybody!!
I don't even know where to start ): I'm such a mess and in need of some support and advice and some answers to many questions I have... about a week ago maybe a couple days over a week already I was in the shower and realized I had a lump in my under arm, it's not easy to feel anymore I have to press down pretty hard to feel it but it feels rubbery and does move around, it's not hard and doesn't seem to stay in one spot (I'm not sure how to really tell if it moves or not it's really in there) for this whole time I have been driving myself crazy wondering what this is ): googled like crazy and find nothing but scary things... my boyfriend thinks I'm crazy and tells me nothing is wrong so do my close friends but I can't help but wonder what this is! I feel no lumps on my breasts and there's no other symptoms, but recently about yesterday I have started to feel very sick to my stomach and constant headaches and hot flashes but I don't know if it's just the panic all this is causing me... any advice would help xxx -no Breast cancer in family-

Hi, Cupcake. It would be best to see your gynecologist or PCP. Nobody here can interpret this for you--you need a medical person to do it. Just as importantly, it's distressing you, and a medical visit is likely to give you information and ease your fears.
Best of luck!

thank you much for you’re response, I definetly agree I have just been giving it time to go away on it’s own, I even switched deodorants to see if maybe that was the cause of the problem (just did that today) so maybe need to give it a bit more time

update on this situation I finally saw a doctor, I gave it 2 weeks to go away and it didn’t seem to go down.. so I decided to get it checked by a doctor I tried everything from warm compresants to switching deodorants and taking ibuprofen and nothing helped! Anyways the doctor just felt on it and said it’s a lymph node and she said she wasn’t to concerned about it, she said since I had an ingrown hair/pimple off to the side of it that’s why its englarged. I’m not sure how I feel since I’ve had ingrown hair day in my other underarm and I never had this problem, should I just trust the doctors judgemnet or persuad a second opinion

cupcake- I would trust the docs opinion unless it gets worse or you find more lumps. I’ve had a swollen lymph node under the arm that also brought me to the docs worried, and she did offer to send me to a breast specialist to have it checked, but she was right. It does take a while for the to shrink back down though. To be clear, this was years before my cancer AND on the opposite side, so not related. Hope this helps!

thank you, maybe I’m just being over cautious! But I will go ahead and trust the doctors opinion, may I ask how long did it take for yours to shrink back down
