wording of pathology report

Hi everyone,

i wasn’t shown my actual pathology report when i was diagnosed, as they just give you the information they feel necessary where i’m from, however, today i was in for a check-up, and i was left alone for a few minutes with my file and had a look.

it said i had IDC with medullary type features, i have no clue what that means, does anyone else? is that a further bad thing?

i also has 5 negative nodes including the sentinel but it said 5 ‘reactive’ nodes retrieved before saying they were negative. what does that mean?
