Years ago, my mom had the CMF regimen. I believe that covers the C and F you describe. She was very tired; that was the biggest side effect for her. Her hair thinned, but she did not lose it all. She noticed it thinned, but I did not, and doubt anyone else did either. I can say that she was cancer free for 22 years before she had a new primary in the other breast, (they did not do BMX back then), so it was effective for her.

    Hi

I had FEC-D about 4 years ago. 3 rounds if DEC and 3 rounds of D (Taxorete). I had some nausea and a bit of fatigue with the first 3 chemo treatments. I had it every three weeks. My hair fell after 14 days and it could have been because of Ellence. I chewed on ice and popsicle during receiving chemo and for a few hours after that. I had food cravings and some food and type of bottled water tasted differently. other than that I was fine. I still walked the dog twice a day and kept working.

An advice I can give you is to take the anti nausea meds as soon as you feel it coming.

Hope you do well on this chemo regime.

    Lola

Thanks for replying. Did you have any genomic test or the Cdx test which gives the doctors an idea on how to tailor your treatment for your type of cancer?
