Will I be able to take care of myself after a mastectomy?
How long before I can drive?
How long will I be off work

Hi there Kati and sorry you find yourself here. I didn't have a masectomy myself, but based on my friend's experience you will need someone to drive you home from the hospital and be with you for a couple of days. And I'd expect you will need to stay home for a week. Thinking good thoughts for you.
