In 2005 at the age of 38 , it was in left breast carcinoma ductul situ. Size was approx. 3cm. In breast.left breast operated & removed. 6 chemotherapy & 25 rediation was done.ER /PR report was nigitiv.

Now in july17 at the age of 50, recuranc on right side at the tail of the breast. Size 2cm. Right side breast also removed. 6 chemotherapy complete. ER/PR report is nigitiv. Now doctor will refer for radio tharapy.

Oncologist said to do generic test.as i read here on site..if BRCA1 or BRCA2 positive, risk is 50%,if both nigitiv still risk is 50%, We r confuse..is there any specific treatment if report is possitiv? Is there any chance of next recuranc Ovarian cancer?

Hi DHB - Are you asking if you find that you have a genetic mutation - what is the chances your child might inherit the mutation? That would be 50% assuming you are found to have a mutation. Also the risk of ovarian cancer increases if you are found to have a Brca mutation and normally a doctor would recommend an oophorectomy.

I’m sorry you are dealing with this again.

Right now in 2017 my recuranc second breast cancer mastectomy & 6 cycles of chemotherapy completed.RT will start after 21 days.

After my first breast cancer treatment in 2005 my monopos started.

Is there still a chance of ovarian cancer?
