edited January 2018 in Life After Breast Cancer

Over the weekend, I saw stories about this 27 yo woman who passed away from cancer (not breast cancer). She wrote this Fb post with advice for not wasting your life. Before she died, she asked her family to post it for her. I’m not a weepy person but I read it twice and sobbed each time. Maybe because I’m working out how to move forward a bit. Still have radiation coming but my life is becoming more normal and I’m thinking about how I want it to be.

I thought it was a good reminder not to waste precious time.

I think it’s the same young woman I read about but it was months ago. God that is so sad. So young.

I don’t adhere to living each day like it’s your last but do agree make the most of every day. We take so much for granted. It’s a shame it takes something like BC to get that proverbial wake up call.

I saw the post this morning. I was recently diagnosed with BC at 33. What a strong woman she must have been, and such wise words. We should all live these words every day, however we often get caught up in the bustle of daily life until something haults is in our tracks. Good for Holly for writing this. She must have been a very kind soul. I wish her family and friends peace and love in their grieving. I hope Holly’s words touch many more people than I know they already have. RIP beautiful angel

    Diane, so true!

ToughCookie, I think part of the reason that Holly’s post resonates is that she wrote so eloquently. Good luck on your bcjourney.

I just read it yesterday.... And yes it is so true. We waste so much time and worry over unimportant things and often don't have time for what is important.
