Implant Replacement Due to Rupture or Personal Choice

Hello everyone! Wondering how long implants last? Is there an average time frame and when they need to be replaced or are they only replaced when there is a rupture or recall of them? I assume there are less problems with silicone now than there were with saline sometime ago too. That is one question I have!

Also, have any of you opted to replace your current implants with a different size a few years after your BMX and if so, how were the results?

I have not been happy with my Ulta Mentor implants, they are too big for my body but it was my fault, I gave my PS the wrong guidance. I am considering exchanging for a smaller size and was wondering if anyone has done that, at a later time. I am 5'4" and 135 lbs, usually am about 120 lbs and trying to get back there! I feel I would feel more like myself going to a more natural implant. I went from a B to a D, even though I look like a C only, but the one side is just so round and shelf like that I just want to be more natural. I know I will have to make sure it is covered, although my PS said it would be, but wondering if anyone went in for a different size later and if you were happy with your decision.
