New Peer-led BREAST CANCER Virtual Support Groups |

Answer Cancer Foundation, the leading provider of virtual support groups, is pleased to announce that starting this month we will offer monthly scheduled virtual support group sessions for both women and men living with Breast Cancer. Rick Davis, Founder of Answer Cancer Foundation, stated: "This is a very positive step forward for those living with breast cancer and their caregivers. We strongly believe that many patients and caregivers will benefit from participating in these virtual support calls and we hope that this news is widely shared."
Answer Cancer Foundation (AnCan) will host its initial Women's Breast Cancer virtual support group session on January 4, 2018, at 6:00pm (EST). Following this initial session, AnCan will continue to offer a virtual support group session every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00pm (EST) and 8:00pm (EST), respectively. Participants can join by telephone or online via the AnCan virtual meeting room. As with all other AnCan virtual support group sessions, participation is free and open to "drop-in" attendees and we welcome all survivors and their caregivers.
The Women's Breast Cancer support groups are co-moderated by Tonya Bellati and Helen Tomasko, both long-term survivors of advanced disease. Helen currently moderates a physical support group at Ann's Place in Danbury, CT, and Tonya is a frequent participant in several online forums, including Inspire, and has presented at the Stanford MedX Conference.
AnCan is also proud to partner with the Male Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) to provide a newly formed virtual support group session for men living with breast cancer and their caregivers. The Men's Breast Cancer virtual support group meets every 4th Thursday of the month with the next session on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 5:00pm (EST).
