Breast Ultrasound, many pictures taken

Hello,

I am 25 and have been experiencing sharp breast pains for 3-4 weeks now. I had a breast ultrasound today, have to wait till late next week for results. The technician took many pictures around both breasts and armpits. Is this normal? I am having crazy anxiety right now.

Hi there Abby. If it was your first ultrasound it is pretty standard to get lots of images in order to have a baseline for the future. Odds are everything is fine but we are sending good thoughts your way.

If they found anything that needs further attention the radiologist will come out and talk to you. I think it's a good sign that they didn't
