Underarm pain after biopsy - waiting for chemo/scans

Hello again. I had my core needle biopsy about 1-1/2 weeks ago and had my checkup with the surgeon last week. We talked about options and I'm going to see an oncologist first and then have a bilateral mastectomy. When the surgeon checked me, he asked if I thought the lump had gotten bigger since the biopsy, which I do think it has, and he seemed to think so too. I didn't think to ask him if that was normal. He also said I have a smaller tumor in addition to the main one. I can't get in to see the oncologist for another two weeks, and I'm sick with worry about spread. They weren't able to see anything in the lymph nodes on the ultrasound, but now when I lift my arms over my head my underarm is painful on the side where the tumors are. I also have a strange pains elsewhere in my body. I just can't wait until I can have scans done to rule out the possibility that it's spread elsewhere. Has anyone here had lymph node involvement or mets elsewhere when the lymph nodes looked okay on their ultrasound?
