Hospital lost my clothes.LOL

I can't believe it. Had my BMX on 12/21. They kept me overnight (seemed soon to leave but whatever) and when I went to get dressed to go home only had my coat and shoes. I had gone shopping specifically for a comfy sweatsuit to wear home but it is now probably still riding around the hospital under a stretcher somewhere....

So they gave me scrub pants and the hospital gown. No undies so I rode home 'cowboy'.

Anyone else have a surprise for their ride home?

lol. I remember when my daughter had knee surgery, outpatient, so in the hours we were there when it was time to be discharged, the great search for her clothes. They did find it, something to do with where they store it and change in security guards.

Now at least you have a funny story to add on to the crappy need for surgery story. First you'll get aww, i'm so sorry then an lol at the end.

I think I’m going to have my husband take my ID etc Home after I go into pre-op and not being any valuables back until I’m lucid enough to know they’re there! I took a backpack with all my personal items in for my SNB outpatient surgery and they put it in a plastic bag with a label that had my name on it and took it away.

I left my navel ring in a hospital garment bag after my lymphectomy. Because my nodes were clean, I decided to view the loss as a ritual sacrifice! Later, I bought myself a new one.
