Hi there,

I have mets to the lining of the lung (quite extensive), small lesions in the liver and bones. I am hoping all can be treated effectively. I have yet to start on the Ibrance treatment...hopefully soon in the new year. Wondering how people with similar experience are doing?

I have been feeling absolutely fine even at the time of diagnoses. However, now feeling pain at the side of the ribs which is tender to the touch. I guess there’s nothing that MO can do until the drugs kick in or should I be alerted that something else may be wrong?

Thank you. This forum is wonderful!

I was DX one year ago with mets to lung, chest and liver. I've done well on Ibrance and femara. I also had y90 procedures for my liver mets. My last PET showed reduced uptake in lung and chest and no uptake in liver. I'll have another scan in January.

My liver mets did not respond well to Ibrance, that's why I had radioembolization. There's more info on that procedure on the local treatment thread. The how are people doing with liver mets thread has lots of really helpful information. Also, the Ibrance thread.

I doubt if your new pain is from your cancer but it's always wise to ask your MO. I hope you get to start on TX soon and that you will do well.
