Collarbone Pain
Hello,
It has been a while since I last post on here. I do check in form time to time and read up on some of the topics. I find myself here when I need the advice or words from my fellow sisters. I have been having pain in my collarbone for almost 2 months now. It started out as a dull pain and now can pretty intense. I can move my arm and neck fine with no pain. It aches when I am doing nothing or when trying to fall asleep. There is no pain to the touch either. Has anyone experiences this pain?
Thanks,
Chrissy

Hi there. So sorry you are in pain. The general rule of them is to report any new symptom lasting 2 or more weeks. You are way passed that mark! I know its scary but think about how relieved you will be to find out it is nothing serious. Good luck and keep us posted.

I called my Onc office yesterday and they just called me back. Scheduled me for a chest CT scan next Wednesday. At least I can get through the holidays and then deal with this. I am sure it is nothing serious, but no real reason why I should be having any pain there. If it hurt to move, I would understand. But the pain is when I am doing nothing. Thanks for the support @dtad!

Let us know how it goes. My MO also told me the same thing (unexplained pain etc; call after 2 weeks).
I hope it's nothing!

Yes, mine has said the same. I just thought it would, or was hoping, it would go away. After 10 years clear, I just hate waving the red flag. I am sure it will be OK and something totally unrelated to my BC. Thanks again for your support!

Glad you are scheduled for a scan just to be sure. Congrats on the 10yrs clear and I'm sending all the positive thoughts that it is nothing also.

No call yet from docs office. I am assuming that means it is most likely clear.
-
Fingers crossed!

Docs office didn't call until 6:15. I missed the call! In the past they have called and left a message stating scans were clear and if I had questions or concerns to give them a call. This time they stated they were calling to discuss my results and to pleace call them in the morning (phones were already switched to night call service). Trying not to freak out!

Hope all is well.

are you ok? What did they say?
