    I just got diagnosed with ILC on Dec 7. Haven't met the surgeon yet, don't know what to expect when I do. However, I am really afraid to go see him on Tuesday, bc I expect to hear that they want to do a mx, or maybe bilateral mx. I feel like I'm losing everything I love. Swimming has always been my preferred therapy, but I can't imagine changing in the high school locker room with all the young women there. Also, one of my favorite things when my husband and I share intimacy is to be touched, but I am so afraid of losing all sensation above my waist like I've lost it on my lower trunk after c-sections. And, I am in the process of letting all my tutoring students go so that they don't have to see me going through this, and I LOVE my job! I just don't know how to cope.
