waiting stinks I am in full panic attack mode. How long does it normally take to receive results?

    Hi there ASmith. Mine took five full business days. Please try to distract yourself with normal life and continue to hope for the best. Fingers crossed for you.

    I had my US-guided core biopsy this past Monday and got prelim results yesterday (Friday). Two to four business days seems to be the norm. In the days between the biopsy and the call from my doctor with the results, I just tried to keep doing normal things: work, household stuff, my sideline businesses, etc. The only thing I didn't want to do was socialize, so I skipped a couple of holiday events at my job. I did go to my husband's office holiday dinner, and am glad I did. It was good to get out, have some wine and laughs. (Very few people in our social circle know about my diagnosis, so I could pretend to be "normal" for an evening, which was nice.)
