Ibrance and fasolodex

hi. Hope everybody is doing ok. Finished my 1 st cycle of Ibrance now off for a week. Does anybody get nose bleeds from the Ibrance. All of a sudden I get nose bleeds which I never got so didn’t know if it was from the meds or not. Also those fasoldex shots hurt like a bitch. ( sorry). Thanks Rhonda

Tychad, I had some nosebleeds during my first two cycles of Ibrance. I have not had any nosebleeds since.

I have now had 4 cycles Ibrance and Fluvestrant. I too found that the fluvestrant injections to be intolerable when given by certain RNs. I spoke to the nurse manager of the oncology infusion clinic. I suggested an in-service on injection sites for this medication, as the drug manufacter outlines them specifically in their articles on line. In addition, when I did find a nurse who was able to give me these injections in spots that did not cause me distress, I went over to the radiation oncology clinic and had them tattoo the spots on my posterior. Should be interesting to see how this goes next time. I also have used heat, and vibration to make the areas feel more comfortable. Heating pad and foot massager. Well it works for me so far.
