High cholesterol?

just went to a new GP and was told I have very high cholesterol (7) which I’ve not had before. I’m a size 12-14 Uk, quite active and have cut down on red meat etc so am a bit shocked. Finished chemo in June, rads in August and now on Tamoxifen. Doc is testing blood for thyroid issues. Anyone else had similar
