Surgeon consult on Friday

After discovering a lump/mass on Thanksgiving I have a mammogram and U/S done last Thursday. Results of those tests are a 3 cm x 2.9 cm x 2.3 cm irregular shaped palpable mass in the upper right slightly medial middle right breast. Appt is to meet with surgeon and get a biopsy that day or scheduled.

I feel like that is a rather large mass to have. Had my normal gyno appt in April and nothing was felt back then. Both the mammogram and U/S list BIRADS of 5.

Looking for advise on what to expect or anything I should ask. Mentally I'm prepared for the worst but still hoping for the best but would just like to determine what it is and a course of action that needs to be taken.

im so sorry that you are experiencing this situation I just meet with a breast specialist with a Birads 3 and 6 months follow up I have done one six months follow up but I had so much pain so my gin send me to a breast specialist, my breast specialist decided that I need a guid core biopsy my is scheduled for nest Friday I hope that my condition is benign and I hope that your mass is also benign I just want you to know that we need to pray that’s the best thing we can do also my mass is 1.5 and im only 22 years old
