I have been on both Zoladex and letrozole. Zoladex monthly shots since 1/2017 and letrozole since 3/2017. I am really struggling to control the joint and bone pain. (hips, feet, and right shoulder) Just finishished 6 weeks of PT on shoulder. I have tried Motrin 800mg, Tylenol 1,000mg, Naprosyn 500mg and even aspirin 975mg at different times. I just can't find anything that works. I also know that long term it can be hard on your kidneys to be on the anti-inflammatory. I have tried the OTC Claritan. I have also tried gabapentin. Has anyone been on both medications? Which one is more likely to cause the problem? or is it just that I am on both? I get conflicting info - onc says definately A I but my gyn says definately the shots. Hot baths help some. I also walk, run and do yoga. MD is offering Celebrex, but I just don't like the idea of adding more meds. If bone pain is in anyway related to bone demineralization then I am so scared I am in trouble. Has anyone had any luck finding anything to work?
