CyberKnife preparation

My mom has brain Mets and she’s getting CyberKnife this week. I was wondering how to prepare for this procedure. Does she have to wash her hair before the operation? She can’t really shower well because she’s so weak and I’ve been keeping her clean with dry shampoo. Would the dry shampoo negatively affect her procedure? Any input about your experience with this procedure and how you did after would be greatly appreciated

    Hi sunny8,

    The morning of my gammaknife radiation, I showered like normal. I wasn't given any special prep instructions. I would think the dry shampoo would also be fine to use, but you may want to check with her neruo onc to be sure.

    Hi Goodie,

    Thank you for your response. How was the gamma knife for you? Did it work? I don’t know how to shampoo my mom’s hair at home when she can barely sit up for 5 minutes at a time. Any suggestions
