Holistic/Integrative/Plant Based Doctors Near Los Angeles

Hello,

I have been recently diagnosed with ductal in situ carcinoma. I have been vegan for 5 years and follow many of the well known plant based doctors. I would really like to heal myself as naturally as possible. I am concerned with some of the conventional cancer treatments, I would like to find a doctor that is open to holistic treatment, integrative medicine and/or knowledgeable about the benefits of a plant based diet. I live in Pasadena which is near Los Angeles. Would anyone happen to know any plant based doctors in LA or doctors who would be more conservative with the toxic treatments? Any help is much appreciated.

The standard. Lumpectomy with radiation or mastectomy.

So you do have an option that doesn't involve toxic treatment, i.e. mastectomy.

Except mastectomy usually involves either cutting another part of your body or getting implants which is toxic. Obviously, neither of those options is holistic or "natural". My question was in regard to a doctor open to natural treatments (aside from meds or surgery) such as lifestyle changes or who is plant based.

That is true, the reconstruction is not very natural at all. I completely agree. It is, however, also optional. I opted out, for various reasons, and what you mention was one of them.

I think you should be able to find an oncology department open to natural medicine, but they will still want to operate. Are you planning to skip the surgery?
